Holyoke (Mass.) Transcript-Telegram Monday, October 27, 1947 Page 16 John Waygel John Waygel, 83, died early this morning at his home at 32 Jackson St., following a six weeks illness. Born in Austria, Nov. 3, 1863, he came to this country 57 years ago and had resided in Holyoke since 1936. For many years he was employed at the Braun Conservatories in Stafford Springs, Conn., retiring some 15 years ago. He was a member of the National Slovak society. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Sadie Boudreau, with whom he made his home, and Mrs. Martin Nadok of Stafford, Conn.; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one niece. Funeral services will be held at the Alger funeral home Wednesday morning, Rev. Martin L. Steup officiating, Burial will be in Poughkeepsie, N. Y., Thursday afternoon.
