Holyoke (Mass.) Transcript-Telegram Monday, January 3, 1972 Page 20 Joseph R. Dupuis, 45 Josph R. Dupuis, 45, of 196 Chestnut St., died Saturday night at Holyoke Soldiers’ Home following a long illness. He was the husband f Eleanor (Boissoneault) Dupuis. Mr. Dupuis was born in Holyoke, the son of Mrs. Evelyn (Boisvert, Dupuis) Marchand of Holyoke, and the late Francis Dupuis. He was educated in the Holyoke schools and served in the United States Navy during World War II. Mr. Dupuis was formerly employed by Tommy’s Taxi Service. Besides his wife and mother, he leaves his stepfather, Euclide Marchand of Holyoke; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Nancy) Marcotte of Springfield and Miss Janice Dupuis of Holyoke, a son Joseph Dupuis of Holyoke; a brother, Gerald Dupuis of Holyoke; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held from the John B. Shea Funeral Home Tuesday morning, followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Precious Blood Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours at the funeral home are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
