Transcript-Telegram Monday, October 27, 1947 Page 16 Sister Of Local Man, Missing Since Oct. 14, Found in Vermont Mrs. Mathilda Farnsworth, missing Winooski, Vt., resident, whose body was found in a ditch on a Colchester, Vt., farm, Oct. 23, was the sister of Joseph A. Houle of Main St., this city. The body of the 60-year old woman, missing from her home since Oct. 14, was found by a U. S. Conservation Service employee who was dynamiting ditches on a Colchester farm. Identification was made by Leo C. Bourgault of Winooski, son-in-law of the woman. Mrs. Farnsworth was fully clothed when found and there were no outward marks of violence on her body. While foul play is not suspected, an investigation has been ordered. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Bourgault of Winooski and two sisters.
