Hi Rebecca, It's a UNION DEFENDER flag holder with an eagle on a shield and a wreath around the outer edge and a five pointed star above. It also reads 1861 - 1865 on the lower left and right. I assume you know the three links at the top of the stone denote a member of the Odd Fellows. Or tell me what this symbol says on it? He is Llewellyn L. Craig who served in the Civil War. He is buried in the " Crocus Path " part of the cemetery, Lot # 483, Section # 26.
