I must admit I believe Robert to be the brother of Hugh Hamilton. Both Robert and Hugh first immigrated to Worcester then Rutland then Hopkinton, Massachusetts from Londonderry, Ireland. I have found Hugh in Blandford, but am unable to determine if the Robert Hamilton in Blandford is the above listed Robert or an offspring. I am looking for some sort of tangible evidence that might bring the four brothers together, who I theorize are James Hamilton of Worcester, Hugh Hamilton of Blandford, John Hamilton of Rutland, and Robert Hamilton. Another interesting family connection is that Hugh Hamilton's son John Hamilton married Sarah Blair sister to Matthew Blair who married Mary Hamilton. Once again thank you.
