They have a historical room that contains annual bound town reports going back to the 1800s. I know these reports usually contain a list of all of the city employees including the police officers. I live 3 hours from Chicopee but may be going back in the next couple of months to do more research. Let me know if you would like me to look this person up the next time I go, I'd be glad to get whatever info I can.
