Can any one be of some help? I am looking for information about a relative by the name of Steve Carroll (Korol, Karol). I was told by family that he had a variety store and residence on Brickeet St. in Springfield, Ma. 1928-30's. I have also been told that he was buried at The Oak Grove Cemetery, in Springfield Ma. Hampden Co. July 27, 1932 plot # F8572 last name spelled Kopo/\b on his tombstone. I know this to be the Russian translation for our name Korol, in Russia where he immigrated from. Family told me that Steve was Killed accidentally by a steamshovel. I am trying to learn if Steve was married or may have had children. Would any one have access to this areas newspaper obituary's? I"m looking for information regarding the accident, and living heirs. Steve immigrated to America in July 14, 1910 at the age of 23 that means he was born in 1887. His parents were Kuprian and Jusefa Korol. Steve came from a tiny forest village called Kleshchi, Belarus. In the early 1900's before it became a republic it was part of the Soviet Union, and regarded to family as Grodno, Russia.
