    3. Where in Hampden County? Was it in Spingfield, Mass? If so, you could check with Sacred Heart Church on Chestnut Street about a marriage date. They have them back to the 1870s at least. The church is on one end of what is called the North End, which is were many, many Irish immigrants lived. I got my family's records from the church; I just had to give them a time period, and the secretary searched the records and mailed me the information. It did take about six months, but the information was invaluable and included information that should have been but wasn't in the city's records. -----Original Message----- From: MAHAMPDE-L-request@rootsweb.com [mailto:MAHAMPDE-L-request@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of sayseebones@aol.com Sent: Monday, January 10, 2005 1:34 PM To: MAHAMPDE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [MAHAMPDEN] Re: Reilly's in MA This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. 3. The 1910 census has a Ethel M. Parks age 12 listed as a daughter to George H. Parks and Margaret D. Parks. There are also six other siblings - Henry age 16, Anna age 15 (then Ethel), Rose age 10, George age 7, John age 7, William age 5, and Martin age 2. They listed Massachusetts as their place of birth. They were living in Springfield, Mass. In the 1920 census, Ethel is still listed with George and Margaret as being single. They were still living in Springfield. In 1930, Ethel M. Ruff is living in East Longmeadow and so is George H. Parks. Send me your e-mail address and I will be happy to send the census records to you. Nonetheless, I'll scan them and e-mail them to you later today.

I will search out this info on parents could be Almeric (sometimes is known as albert up here also). Did you have any luck with the obituary? Thanks again.

And I could find no births for that last name at all (with any first name) during those years in or near Indian Orchard (Springfield) MA. I then looked for his brother Almeric, and this is the only record I found: Albert Cardinal, b. Dec. 14, 1870 in Springfield MA. Parents: Francis and Blanche (Marvin), residents of Springfield, both b. in Canada. Father's occupation: factory employee.
