Col Earl Benson who was once a Trust Officer for the Bank of New England West as of 1986. His wife's name was Barbara and was a secretary for a car dealership, if I am understanding this correctly. They had 4 children whose names I do not know but who were likely born in the 1940's and/or the 1950's. They lived in the Springfied, MA area from at least 1968. Earl and Barbara lived at 180 E. Allen Ridge Rd in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA as late as 1986. After that I do not know where they went. If anyone knows any member of this family or knows how I can reach them, please contact me. I am working on a Maland family history and Earl's grandmother was named Belle Maland aka Ingeborg Maland and lived in Duluth, MN with her husband Charles Benson from 1900 to her death in 1967.

    1. [MAHAMPDE] Luke Moore - Westfield?
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: MOORE ROOT BOSWORTH Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/VFB.2ACI/3447 Message Board Post: Looking for the parents and birthplace of Luke Moore who died in Westfield Dec 10, 1795. He is buried at Middle Farms Cemetery in Westfield. Luke Moore married Lucretia Rogers on Oct 25, 1787 in Westfield. I know of only one child: Zaavan Moore (his first name is spelled a variety of ways). Zaavan was probabl born about 1792 so in the time frame of 1787 (marriage) to 1795 (death) there is a possiblity of more children. Zaavan stayed in the Westfield area marrying Margaret Root. After Luke's death his widow married Zadock Bosworth Jr on Jan 9, 1802 in Montgomery, Anyone researching Luke Moore please let me know. Is he from Westfield? or did he migrate up from CT? Todd Easton

Surnames: McAvoy Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VFB.2ACI/3446 Message Board Post: I am trying to research my g-g-uncle Thomas Henry McAvoy who was born on 9/5/1866, Portadown, Northern Ireland. Around 1902 he migrated to America. He married a Minnie Brown and they resided at 210 South Street, Holyoke, Co. Hampden for approximately 40 years. Thomas worked for the former Farr Alpaca Mills then the Holyoke Wire and Cable Co. He died on 27/7/1949 and Minnie died on 1/11/1954. Their funerals were conducted by the Alger Funeral Home and they were buried at the Forestdale Cemetery. I have the obituary for Thomas but not Minnie and have been unable to locate migration details or social security numbers. I would be grateful if anyone is able to assist. Thank you.
