    3. I posted this last night, but never saw it come through any list. Eight towns have been added to the 1790 Hampshire County, MA Census site as follows: Amherst Ashfield Belchertown Cummington Heath Hatfield Montgomery New Salem Not all in Hampshire County you say? In 1790 Hampshire County covered what is now Hampshire, Hampden and Franklin Counties. This large area is making this a big job. The 20 towns online now will look small when this is all finished, so please be patient with me on the site. Where is it? http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyne/hampshire_ma/1790/ There are also some links to County sites for the three counties as well as links to other census pages that I know of. I am very happy to hear from you and look forward to meeting you. I was removed from the family at birth along with another brother named Peter. I have been in contact with Peter only within the past year. My last name is now Vermette because I was adopted. Per chance could you be C. Winslow? I have some paperwork here I obtained from Shirley Kolnicki with that name on it. Could it be your married name? The paperwork had a Naples FL address on it but I was unable to make contact. I presently live in Unionville CT, about 20 miles west of Hartford. I would like very much to speak with you. Please email me at [email protected] Thank you very much for speaking out, Your Uncle, Felix (Kolnicki) Vermette

    1. Re: [MAHAMPDE] CLOUGH - Alford and Springfield 1790-1800
    2. Alford is in Berkshire County. You might check your local FHL (Mormon family history library) to see if you can obtain microfilm of Alford vital records. Alford records are also available on Holbrook (Archives Publishing) microfiche which can also be ordered through your local FHL, and Alford records are also part of the Vital Records of Mass., official series. Springfield records are available through the Corbin Collection, also can be ordered through FHL; Holbrook microfiche, and in issues of the NEHGS REgister. There is also a publication called Thomas Warren's Springfield Families, which may be what is in the NEHGS Register. If you are a member of NEHGS, you can now access the entire run of NEHGS Registers online. Good luck. Joan Hunter Joan A.
