I recently found a photograph of the family of Harvey G Townsend, wife Ada M Townsend, and two sons, James & Andrew. There is no date, but from the clothing, it appears the photo was taken early in the 20th century. James appears to be around 6 years old, and the baby Andrew about 6 months old. The photo was made by Sheldon Studio of Northampton, Mass. It was found in the belongings of Arlene Cranson (1902-1996), who grew up in Conway, and graduated from Smith School in Northampton around 1920. I'm wondering what the connection was between the Townsend & Cranson families. Perhaps Arlene & Ada were classmates or neighbors? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Syl in Florida
