This question is in response to posting dated 1/20/2007, "I understand he (Luther Washburn)was born in Ashfield, MA, 1756 and married Sarah Spinning 1 July 1779 in Ashfield." I know this is a long shot and that North Adams is not in Franklin county. Please humor me. Does anyone have additional info on the surname Spinning to know if Sarah is related to Ira below?? I have no location for where the family.
