My gg-grandmother Hannorah Madigan and Michael O'Connor, her first husband were married there. He died and she later married John Clark, father of my g-grandfather, Jim Clark. Cheapside is now a part of Greenfield. If you study the old maps and renderings of Cheapside and then visit, you can visualize what the village was like. The footprint of the place is basically the same and many of the old structures are still standing. By the way, I also have Eagans in my line. I wonder if we are connected?
