OK, I've taken a quick look at the book. It is indexed. I can do some look-ups, if anyone has specific questions. Regarding genealogy, it has a couple of pages of the life of John Erving, and a reproduction of a portrait. Several names are associated with early land grants: Shepherd family, Alexander family, Col. Asaph White. Rubbings of two headstones, reportedly the only two Revolutionary War soldiers are shown: Asa Albee and Joshua Austin. Town officials and veterans are listed. Since the town starts in 1838, the records are only that old. Most of the photos are relatively recent. It is over 250 pages, so there is a large body of information. Sara
