This information seems to rule out this Harriet/Hattie Hicks as my great-grandmother. I will keep searching for a Harriet Hicks, born somewhere in the MA, VT, NY area, born 4 Apr 1866(if that date is correct), to Thomas and Elizabeth Hicks, who for some unknown reason is left with her brother Henry at the Shaker Colony in Enfield, CT before 1880.
