Hello all: I went to MA Archives for some info and discovered they have the Holbrook Collection for Shutesbury 1746-1890 and Warwick 1739-1890, both places and times with ancestral dead ends for me (found one!). The pages are extremely hard to read both because of poor copies and because of flowery old script where letters and numbers don't look like they should. Have about 10 pages that I printed for Warwick and 20 for Shutesbury for names I was looking for. Have finished transcribing Warwick as best I can and typed to a word doc, finished transcribing Shutesbury but now need to type onto a word doc. Unfortunately fell down my cellar stairs yesterday and can't sit for very long at computer, and may not be able to do so for a while yet, but if anyone is interested in seeing what else is on these pages, I will gladly attach a word doc to you for Warwick, I can do specific look-ups for Shutesbury for now, and just attach the word doc later when it's done-so you can double check, which may take a while. Please do remember that I have done my best but could be pretty far off, so if something on the word doc looks like it COULD be something you want, just write back and ask if it is possible it is something else, sometimes you can get these things right only because you found the name on the index (which I only looked up for the names I wanted, not the rest of page), or know what name/record it is in advance. Hopefully this will be of help to someone, again bear with me while I recover, I'll get to each of you (am trying to bribe one of my children to type Shutesbury for me).
