15. Benjamin Franklin GOODELL (Ephraim-2, John-1) was born on 15 Dec 1818 in Eaton, Madison, New York. He died on 14 Jun 1882 in Ridgeway, Orleans, New York. He shared with his brother, George W., the farm formerly occupied by his father, both families living in the same house until April 1856, whe he sold his share to his brother, and removed to Chagrin Falls, Ohio, where his brother, Hannibal Goodell, was living. In 1869 he came back to New York and bought a farm in the town of Ridgeway, N.Y. situated about two miles from the one occupied by his brother George, who had come there from Eaton a short time before.
