Soon after his marriage to Lucy, he removed to Chagrin Falls, Ohio, a thriving town of two thousand inhabitnats, situated near Cleveland. Here he was engaged in active business until infirmities of age prevented further labor. He had been nearly helpless from partial paralysis for four or five years before his death, but the faculties of his mind failed not in the least degree. Conscious to the last he peacefully died, at the age of 84. Hannibal GOODELL and Sarah RECORD were married on 11 Aug 1833. Sarah RECORD was born in 1810. She died on 21 Dec 1841. Remained on the farm formerly owned and occupied by his father, until the spring of 1868, when he sold it and removed, with his family, to the town of Yates, Orleans Co., N.Y., where he bought a pleasantly located fruit farm, situated about two miles from the shore of Lake Ontario, and within tow miles of Lyndonville. He had occupied it only six years, whe, after an illness of only a few days, with pneumonia, he died. George Washington GOODELL and Harriet P. COOPER were married on 25 Feb 1841. Harriet P. COOPER was born on 4 Jul 1819. She died on 11 Jul 1891 in Spencerport, Monroe, New York. After the death of her 2nd husband, she had a home with her youngest child, Mrs. Hattie Edgecombe, in Rochester, N.Y. In the winter of 1891 she fell on the ice, fracturing her hip, an injury from which she never fully recovered. In June, although very feeble, she went to Spencerport to visit her daughter, Mrs. Zena Nichols, and while there, suddenly and without a moment's warning, she died of heart failure, aged 72 years, 7 days. She was a most devoted mother, and her children truly "rise up and call her blessed." She is buried in the cemetery at Lyndonville, by teh side of the father of her children.
