    3. Hello Franklin County, Massachusetts list members, Posts to this list from Paul Allred have slowed down. His marvelous posts over the last five years have added a tremendous amount of informative, & valuable information to be found in our list archive. MAFRANKL-L threaded archives (2001-2004) http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/MAFRANKL ~and~ MAFRANKL-L searchable archives (1998-2004) http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl?list=MAFRANKL - Query: pwallred first posting found: 25 Aug 1999 1999 - Record Count: 77; Database Records: 507 = 15% 2000 - Record Count: 504; Database Records: 885 = 57% 2001 - Record Count: 316; Database Records: 579 = 55% 2002 - Record Count: 691; Database Records: 948 = 73% 2003 - Record Count: 307; Database Records: 609 = 54% 2004 - Record Count: 121; Database Records: 225 = 53% Paul's Record Count: 2,016; Database Total: 3753 = 54% (Needless to say, this count doesn't include the times the archiver was "down" and some posts were lost forever.) Thank you, Paul W. Allred, for your dedicated work over the past five years. We look forward to all that you may send our way in the next five years! With that being said, I would like to hear from you concerning the operation of this list and the routing of future email list messages. In particular, two concerns: 1.) The responses being changed from to the sender, to be changed to respond to the list. (Sometimes safer due to folks keeping messages in their email programs and the possibility of a response with a virus attached going to the sender. Viruses cannot be sent thru the list.) 2.) Messages from the message boards being routed to the email list through the gateway. 1,457 there now, average monthly postings are about 10-20 per month (The message would be given with the email address of the message board poster, a link to the message is contained in the body of the email list message, the respondant would click the link, log in and post a response on the message board. !Sometimes folks post a response to the list only, message board posters are not always email list members, and therefore may miss a response.) Please, respond to the list manager @ [email protected] -personally, so as not to fill up mailboxes and risk bumping someone off the list due to a "mailbox full"... I will let you know of the responses next Saturday. Thanks! for your anticipated feedback! Sue
