While searching the IGI for possible German family connections, I came across the 1859 marriage of John Sherle (b. about 1835 in Germany) to Agnes Pfafferll. The marriage is said to have taken place in Greenfield, Franklin County, MA. I would like to hear from others who are researching German families in Greenfield during the mid 1800s.
