My focus for now will be to computerize the genealogy information from the book: "The History of Rowe, Massachusetts, by Percy Whiting Brown, 2d edition, Privately Published, 1935, Cleveland, Ohio, Printed by A. D. Williams Company, 114 pages." I copied this book at the Denver Public Library, while in Denver in June. My database has grown to a little over 191,000 individual names, mostly for the descendants of early settlers to Hartford, Conn (that married into the Webster, Treat, Marsh, Martin families and others) and early settlers of Franklin County, Mass. The Webster & Marsh families were early settlers of Hadley, Mass. and ended up marrying into many of the early families that settled in Hampshire, Berkshire and Franklin counties. I have limited information on the settlers of Rowe, Mass. If any of the readers on the list would be interested in sharing their family genealogy for their families that resided in Rowe, I will merge it into the database and share the information developed and linked. My area of interest remains the settlers prior to 1850, however, I will frequently carry family lines up to and into the early 1900's in order to link extended family genealogies.
