Marriage performed by Rev. J. M. Rock(wood?) - Page is creased. Massachusetts Vital Records, Vol. 78, page 301: At Chicopee, Mass. on 11 Oct. 1854 Asahel B. LAMSON, residing in Belchertown, age 24, a farmer, born at Belchertown, son of David Lamson, second marriage, and Mary Ann BISHOP, age 17, res. and born at Belchertown, daughter of "Mala" Bishop, first marriage. Also, same date and location, George LAMSON, age 23, res. Palmer, farmer, b. Palmer, son of David Lamson, first marriage, and Susan Bishop, age 19, res. Amherst, b. Belchertown, daughter of Gamaliel Bishop, first marriage. Both these marriages performed by George A. Oviatt, pastor "Cong. Church." * Note: in the History of Hardwick, Massachusetts : with a genealogical register; Boston: Houghton, Mifflin, 1883, p. 544: this SARAH who married Asahel B.
