Dear Sue, There is a collection (perhaps 200-300 pages total) of original manuscripts and newspaper clippings at the Shelburne Historical Society. To my knowledge no other copy of these documents exists. They are from both Theophilus Packard Sr. and Theophilus Packard Jr. There is quite complete coverage of the successful campaign of T.P.Jr's wife, to reform legislation concerning a husband's right to declare his wife insane and have her incarcerated against her will.
