I recently visited the town clerk's office in Colrain - a very friendly place with a terrific staff! In case anyone was looking for this: This fall a Colrain resident was cleaning out the attic of a private home and found the ledger containing the marriage intentions for the Town of Colrain, recorded from Aug 1905 to Dec 1939. (How this town property came to be there, is anyone's guess, I was told.) The book is now in the Town Clerk's office. Shari Strahan
