Johns occupation was labourer. It was the first marriage for both and both were born in Ireland. They were married by Rev. P. Conlan, Roman Catholic Priest, Greenfield, Mass. Vol. 60 page 223 NEHGS. Mary O'Brien (Frawley) died Feb. 13, 1906 at the age of 80. Says she was widowed and her husbands name was James O'Brien. She was born in Ireland and her fathers name was John Frawley. Informant was Thomas O'Brien. She died of Appoplexy, Disease of the Heart. She was buried at the Calvary Cemetery, Greenfield, Mass. Date of Burial was Feb. 16, 1906. Undertaker-C P McDonald, Greenfield.Vol 43. Page 18. * John must have also used the name James ? William O'Brien born May 12, 1860 in Greenfield to James and Mary O'Brien (Frawley). Vol 136, Page 355.NEHGS James O'Brien Jr. born March 1, 1862 in Greenfield to James and Mary O'Brien (Frawley). Vol 150, Page 315 NEHGS Edmund O'Brien born May 3, 1866 Greenfield to James and Mary O'Brien (Frawley) Vol. 186, Page 296. NEHGS Decourcy O'Brien born Sept 25, 1867 in Greenfield to James O'Brien and Mary (Frawley). Vol 196, Page 297 NEHGS. John H. O'Brien married Katie Connola (Spelling?) looks like Cannola - both of Greenfield on May 7, 1898. John H. was 26, Katie was 21. First marriage for both. Parents were John J. O'Brien and Mary Frawley and John Connola and Mary Burns. They were married by M E Purcell, Clergyman, Greenfield - Vol. 478, page 538 NEHGS. I didnt see a birth for Thomas but will look again.
