Good job. I am interested in your mention of Chileab Smith. Being that it is such a unique name I can only assume that it is related to the Chileab Smith's I have in my line. One of them is referenced in the "Descendants of Nathaniel Dickinson" and the rest of my information is unsourced from my cousin. Overall, her research has proved itself well - despite her lack of recording her sources. If you know more about this family or can figure out how it ties to the family listed below I would like to hear. Samuel Smith b. 1601 in England m. Elizabeth Chileab in 1624 in England. He died about 1680 in Hadley. They had a son Chileab (abt. 1635 - 1730) who married Hannah Hitchcock. I have two sons listed for that union, Chileab (d. 1746) and Luke (b. 1666). This second Chileab married Mercy Golding in 1710 and had a daughter, Thankful, born in 1722 who married Moses Dickinson. I realize there are many gaps in this - mostly that there must have been many more children in each family, but this is the information I have so far. I have not attempted much research on this particular line, but finding the odd name in your story brought it to my mind again. btw - pg 7 of 23 at the end of the indented paragraph - "which or course" - did you mean of, not or? I don't mean to be picky, but hope you appreciate the little proofreading note to help your published paper be the best it can be.
