He kept a "Chronicle", and recorded his own information there. The "Elaborate History and Genealogy of the Ballous" Pages 125-127 Lydia Ballou5, Rev. Maturin4, Peter3, John2, Maturin1; b in now Lincoln, then Smithfield, R.I. 21 Oct 1752; m Samuel Moses of Royalston, MA, b during the year 1749, ptge not given; cer. Richmond, N.H. 20 Jan 1773, by Rev. Maturin Ballou. Issue-- Sarah b abt 1774, died young Royal Moses, abt 1776, m and had a family in Owego, NY Anna Moses be Sep 1783, m 1st Mr. Chamberlain, 2d N. Proctor Lydia Moses, b May 1786; m 1st Z. Kingsley, 2d Jona Eddy. Ambrose Moses b not given; went to Ohio, m and had family Levi Moses b not given always an invalid d unmarried Mary Moses b not given m John Hall, lived & d in VT Lydia d in Warwick MA 25 Jan 1834, a 81yrs.
