Margie, Do you have any records of Asahel's siblings? I am struck on Mercy Wells, born in Massachusetts July 16, 1768, according to her gravestone in Spafford, Onondaga Co., NY. She married Jeremiah Olmsted, and they lived in Hope, NY, and removed to Spafford in the 1830's.
