This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Knowlton Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4EB.2ACE/1063.1.1.1.2 Message Board Post: Thank you for sending the information in your two messages and yes, I am very frustrated at not being able to find what I need to prove/document my Knowltons. I, like other desc.of these people have been struggling for years to get them straightened out and now that I no longer live where I have access to libraries to do my own research, I really get frustrated with having to try to accomplish something via the internet. Hopefully what you have sent will help me put some people where they belong - too many of the same names (like Timothys - 3 of which are my lines, the others are not but I am never sure who is who.) Two things I have been stumped on more than the rest (?) is information on my Timothy born 1720 to Timothy born 1687, and who had a son Timothy born 1745 (all mine) with no wife, no death dates, nada. And still trying to find out who Harry Butler is who was a grandson to Timothy (1745-20 June 1815 ) - both died on the same day- in Rowe. I am also now trying! to figure out a way to check on some deeds/indentures/mortgages that might also give me some info - I have printed out the messages you posted and will not see what I can do with them. Thanks again for taking the time to do this.
Hi There is a will for Timothy Knowlton in Cumberland, R.I. dated 1768, #2-178. Might he be one of yours?
