Searching for confirmation of the birth of Mary "Polly" MOSES, b. 28 June 1795, Warwick, Franklin County, Massachusetts. Her parents were Samuel and Lydia (BALLOU) MOSES. I am informed that a record of this birth exists in the Warwick Town Records. I have learned that there is a book, "Massachusetts Vital Records to 1850" containing "Warwick 1739-1890"; Oxford, Mass. Holbrook Research Institute, 1983. ISBN 0-9312-4848-5. Perhaps a record showing Mary's parents and Mary's birth is contained in this book. Hopefully someone with access to this book or a similar resource can provide me with a copy of the page containing a record of Mary's birth including her parents names. Thank you. Stu
I understand he was born in Ashfield, MA, 1756 and married Sarah Spinning 1 July 1779 in Ashfield. I would like to know where he died and anything available about his children.

Also they might be able to tell you if Annie is buried with anyone. That might give you some leads. I did look for death records for up to 1910 (that's as far as is available online) and didn't find any other of your family. Good luck!!

Annie was a bit of a mystery, we assumed she'd got married out there. Sadly then she died only a couple of years after emigrating. Now it looks as if only John H Coward may have settled out there although he again is proving tricky to trace. 1904 and 1909 directories show George, Emily and John in Shelburne Falls but no Selena. Thanks again for your help.

I see no help in Sheldon, nor in the 1918 Register piece on this Springfield William Brooks family. Sheldon has Ebenezer family surviving in 1720 Deerfield, but after that no clue. I think you need to consult NEHGS unless you are closer to Hartford. If there is a Connecticut connection you'll find Brooks in New London at this time period.
