LOSE WEIGHT AND GAIN ANCESTORS - Your New Year Resolutions for 2004 Bourbon County (KY) Genealogical Society will be hosting a free seminar for absolute beginners in genealogy and family history. Anyone interested in documenting their family and all the history that surrounds them should make time to come to this meeting and find out the how, when and where to start. The meeting will be 6-8pm on Thursday, January 15, 2004 at Paris-Bourbon County Public Library, 701 High Street, Paris. It will be a very informal seminar aimed at making the newcomer at ease with the hobby and the club's members will be there to assist you in your early research. You are advised to bring with you a writing pad and pencil with which to take notes and also some change, in case you need to use the library's photocopier.
