I need your help. Many descendants of William Howard and Elizabeth Reed cite their marriage in Madison County, KY on September 28, 1793 with Elizabeth's brother Edward Reed as bondsman. However, the marriage records for the county given on ancestry.com do do not include this marriage. How can I find out if the couple were married in Madison Co., as alleged, on that date?
