Bushy, I did not have a very good experience trying to obtain a marriage record from the courthouse. I sent a check for $10 with a description of what I was looking for and I didn't receive a reply. After several months I called and was directed to a David Green. He told me that he sent the money back with a letter telling me how much the it would cost to get the record. I told him I never received his letter or check. The check has not been cashed. He told me would email me the information. I sent him an email to make sure he had the correct email address. I never received a reply from him. I am not sure whether Mr. Green is a county employee or a private researcher. I was told that he is or had been an officer in the local historical society. Hope you have better luck. George Thurman At 10:45 AM 3/19/2004 -0500, you wrote: >Hello all, >I am trying to find out how much a marriage record cost if I send to the >County Clerk.
