    3. Erma, Thanks for reminding us how quiet this site has been. Let's get something started. Is anyone doing obit look ups for Berea? My father's first cousin was Homer Farris who died in a plane crash in South America March 22, 1934, and I feel sure it was written up in the Berea newspaper at that time. There were also write-ups about his being the pilot who flew the plane in which the Prince of Wales traveled during his stay in South America. His parents owned and operated the Colonial Hotel in Berea. I tried to find the obit once at Berea college Library but did not have the correct date and was searching an earlier paper. Would appreciate any help. Maxine Bowling Friedly ----- Original Message ----- From: "Erma N. 3. Charles, On the second floor of William Young Library at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky are all the Kentucky newspapers. The library is open 24 hours a day during the school session. In the summer the hours change.
