I am searching to prove a daughter of Robert Harris, Sarah Harris, married David Hambleton. David resided in Louisa County and lives next to and by other Harris' including Robert and Benjamin. I have all of Mrs. Davis's books, but no where does David Hambleton (Hamilton) appear with his wife's maiden name. There are many women named Sarah Harris, and I feel one of them married David Hambleton about 1755. The Sarah I need, was born about 1736/37, married David Hambleton about 1755, had at least 10 children, and died in 1816 leaving a substantial amount of money, and slaves to her children. David Hambleton died about 1780, but he had a son named David Hambleton who is in the land records, and court records until after 1830. Some of the Harris' of Louisa Co., moved to the Kentucky area., and I was hoping a brother of Sarah Harris or sister, would surface.
