I have noticed there seem to be many Madison Co. folks with ties to/from NC. Mine are the Murphys: John Murphy Sr. b. 1766, NC. m: 1) Hannah McNamare(a) m. 10/6/1786 in Lincoln Co., NC 2) Lucy Hughes I am great-great granddaughter to this John Murphy. I descend from his 2nd marriage to Lucy Hughes. I know I've posted this before, but thought I would again for those folks who are new to the list.
