Does anyone know the history of Wallace Mill Rd (North, only, off Hiwy 52, and East of Paint Lick, West of Silver Creek?? Is there actually an old mill down there somewhere? I "discovered" it when I was there in October this year, and found it very intriguing - so narrow and down hill as far as I went. There was a truck behind me and the road was so narrow (one lane) that as soon as I found a place to pull off, I turned around and came back out. All those stone walls were ancient; I suspect the Wallace's were the family of Hannah Wallace (c.1760-1834) daughter of Micheal Wallace and Anne Allen. Hannah was my 4th GGGGgm, and married James Anderson (1757-1831). They are both buried in the nearby Samuel Campbell/John Anderson cemetery on Peytontown Road. ________________________________________ PeoplePC Online A better way to Internet http://www.peoplepc.com
