Thank You ! My Husbands Kentuckians went to Kansas after a sojourn in Missouri and I recently stumbled on an Ellis Co. "history" book and found the Great Grands and a Photo of them. A little searching same book found many attachments to his family. I sure hope Kansas items are as great as Mo. SOS certificates. According to Dick Eastman's newsletter, to which many of you probably subscribe, the state of Kansas is putting on the internet many of its archival documents beginning Oct 16. (mark your calendars) Some of my allied Kentuckians went to Missouri, but I don't believe to Kansas. Dick Eastman gives this URL, but again the opening of these archival records seems to be Oct 16 kansasmemory.org (Rootsweb may wrap the above URL in punctuation marks. If so, remove those marks prior to pasting in your search engine.) Always curious about new possible resources E.W.Wallace ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to MADKY-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
