GT, I don't know if he was in KY as early as 1775, but it is possible that he could have been there and left to go back to MD for some reason. I do know that he is on the list of the Oath of Allegience in MD along with Joseph Malotte in 1778. If you read the book by Morgan, you can see that there was a lot of going back and forth to KY in those early years. Judith Arthur
