    3. The Kenticky microfilms of Draper Manuscripts I have ordered from LDS Library, are indeed readable; however, some Shane papers, a sub-folder of Draper, are written with ink that bled through some of the pages. I could still read it, tho. Since I collect copies of the original handwritten docs, they were easy to copy. A modern book exists, describing microfilm reels covering all Kentucky record sources and where they are located (Roseann Reinemuth Hogan, published by Ancestry, 1992, available at Amazon). She says, "The Kentucky papers [of Draper Manuscripts]consists of 37 volumes. An index as well as a subject index has been published by the Wisconsin Historical Society (Weaks 1979)..." This is the person E.W. mentioned. The "Guide to Draper Manuscripts" I ordered from LDS Salt Lake Library, was on microfiche, so much cheaper than ordering reels of film (only 15 cents per sheet). This may be the book Roseann Hogan and E.W. refer to, but I don't have author details now.
