Mary Alice, I have these dates for Thomas South's children: Mary Catherine 1758 VA John 1760 VA Nancy Barnett 1775 VA Satta/Sarah beg 1778 VA The source I have for those dates is John M. South and he did not document his database. I really wonder about this because of the big gap in dates between John and Nancy. The date for Satta coincides with what we have for a birth date for her husband, Samuel Stone, and would indicate that she was born near the time that her father was killed. I did not know about the Corn Compact so I will have to look that up, but you all have more information and references to Thomas South than I have. Thank you so much. Judith Arthur
