    3. Eldon, I hope you get the Madison Co Youngs sorted out; one of my Andersons (Isaac, b.ca.1765 Augusta Co VA) married Jane Young in Madison Co on 6 Apr 1790. I am almost certain these Youngs came from Augusta Co VA; a Wm Young was a close neighbor to this Anderson family from 1740 land patents (then in Orange Co VA) on, and younger generation may have come to Madison Co (then Lincoln) at the same time these Andersons did in 1778. Back in Augusta Co, there were two Anderson men who married Young sisters around 1770 or so, and they may have been brothers or nephews of my John Anderson b.1725 who came to Madison in 1778 with his family of nearly grown children.. I also have reason to believe these two Anderson men's mother was probably was a Young - since they were deeded a piece of land jointly by a Young, but with no mention of the connection or their wives. Still have lots of questions on this line, myself. What were neighbors' names on that Madison Co tax list you have? 3. Hi Mary Alice, Unfortunately, the 1792 Madison Co Tax List I used was alphabetic so I could not distinguish neighbors. Here is the link: http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ky/madison/taxlists/1792tax.txt The person who submitted the list was Roger Boardman at rsbo@ix.netcom.com Maybe he still has the original list which of course should be in districts (or the like). I noted that there are several Anderson's on the list including an Isaac.
