Margaret/Peggy Lanham, b. after 1796 in Madison Co., the 8th child of Thomas Lanham and Patience Sappington, married Zephaniah Fowler, 29 Dec 1814 in Madison Co., KY. The bond was filed 28 Dec 1814, John Lanham, bondsman; Thomas Lanham father of the bride. (Note: Some people have Zephaniah listed as Leshimiah but the original document was clearly Zepheniah. Spelled with e in the middle. I saw that one myself - I may even have a copy of it stashed somewhere.) They were living in Montgomery Co. in 1860. Some of their children were Thomas, b. 1817; Wesley, b. 1824; Susey, b. 1826 (see list of grandparents following); Sarah, b. 1828; Mary, b. 1829. [A Fowler researcher told me his parents were Jeremiah Fowler and Marget UNK and Jeremiah's parents were Jeremiah Fowler and Drucilla Isaac, and that Jeremiah's parents were Thomas Fowler and Susannah Iiams.
