Rosa Belle Whitlock b. 1848 KY and died sometime before 1876. They lived in the Kirksville and Greensburgh Twps, Madison Co., KY Any help with these would be apprciated. Calvin J.Sowers married Rosa Bell Whitlock age 20 on Feb.7,1876.He was 25.She was the daughter of Mary Whitlock. So if she died as you say in 1876 it must have been in childbirth. Calvin and Addie are buried Gilead cemetery ,but I find no marriage for him to Addie in Madison County in 1877 to 1899. Will look at some other refrences to see what I can find.. Hi, Looks like wife Rosie didn't died before 1876. She is still there on the 1880 census. By 1900 he was married to Adda for 8 years. Hope this helps a little.
