    3. Terry, Don't discount Hormisdas Lambert yet. Often the French-Canadians names more then one child with the same name, even if the first child was still alive. They would often call one by one name and the other child by another but sometimes the wrong one is listed (I know because of the age-example; mine was a Florence Rosalie who had two daughters named Florence Rosalie-one went by Florence, one by Rosalie but a few times Rosalie is listed as Florence-they were born 10 years apart so I can tell who is who. I know it gets very confusing. Depending on who gave the census information to the census taker makes a lot of difference. Original birth records will held resolve your questions. I'd also try to contact the French-Canadian group in Pawtucket, Rhode Island as they have published many of the French Catholic Church Records in New England. I'll try to get the e-mail address for you today. Have you written to the state of Massachusetts for a copy of a marriage record? They could have gotten married anywhere in Mass. or possibly Rhode Island as both had a large Irish population. Good luck in your research as your Lambert is French-Canadian and the French-Canadians have excellent records. When you get the right parents for Rose contact me again as I have a lot of experience in that area as my mother's side is 100% French-Canadian. I'll also send you later info on how to find your Ronan coming into America. Very possibly they arrived in Boston or Nova Scotia.
