I hopeful someone out there has access to the Providence Journal or Fall River newspaper archives that can look up An obituary for Rose E. Lambert Ronan. She was buried on February 08, 1965 in Notre Dame Cemetery and lived in Fall River All of her life. Also, her husband Michael F. Ronan buried July 19, 1949. Neither person is listed in the Social Security records and I'm trying to get their birth dates and Parents names. Please, oh, Please can someone help??. I would like to send for death records but don't have actual date of death, does anyone know if burial date is sufficient. I'd hate to send out the 19.50 each to find out they won't or can't get them without.

I have some census information for this couple and will check for more. 1930 census has Michael as 44 and Rose as 40. He was 23 at time of marriage and she was 19. I will look at earlier census information to see what other information I can find. 1900 census might have them living with their parents. Florence

Ronan b. Aug 1885. He is living with parents James and Hamora (sp) Ronan. James was b. April 1863. His wife was b. Jul 1868. They had been married 18 years. He came to America in 1880, and she in 1883. He is listed as naturalized. I can provide full details from the census in both cases if that is of interest to you. Florence

They had been married 20 years. Joseph was b. Canada, and Mary b. New York. That does fir with the information from 1930, which had Rose Ronan's father b. Canada, and mother b. NY.
