I am new to this list and researching the following surnames - Hayes, Riley, Burrows, Lapham, Sheehan, Nichols. They were in the Fall River area in the 1870's and many were there until the 1940's. The Hayes, Riley, Burrows, and Nichols families came from Lancashire, England. The Lapham's came from Wales and the Sheehan's came from County Kerry, Ireland. Hi: For better results suggest posting specific requests with names and dates to the list. Many of us are willing to do lookups from our resources although not researchers per se of your families . Once you get started more info will surface.i
