Tough one. Massachusetts vital records in the State Archives start about 1845. Good census' start in 1850. 1789 is a stretch. The first Boyle to arrive in Gaspé was James who arrived in 1789, supposedly from the Boston area of Massachusetts. He came to Gaspé with his wife Mary and children – John, George, Jane, Mary, and James. The family may have been United Empire Loyalists but I have found no records as such. Perhaps someone has a lead for me. Many Thanks, Jim ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to MABRISTO-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
