Hello everyone....we are new to the list......hoping someone out there can help....... In New Bedford from about 1926 to about 1940 there existed at 21 Lexington Street...a store and factory called: " The Almond Lancashire Style Pork Products." It was run by William & Mary Almond. Working there also were their four sons....William Jr, David J, Thomas and Walter. Around 1940 the store moved to 868 Kempton Street and was called Almond Quality Pork Store and Delicatessen. It was no longer in existence in 1945. I am hoping that someone remembers the store and possible the family that ran it. Would appreciate any help you can offer.
