I've used the old Inquiry Service of NEHGS for Boston records & have had no problems & very quick turn around. The Society does also now have the INDEXES (to date) on all Boston B-M-D (located on the microfiche floor) & so double checks any requests. I've not used the NEW Inquiry Service which has slightly higher rates. Details about what's offered now can be reviewed at the Society's web site.
